最近、中学生や高校生のお子さんを持つお母さんから、英語学習の相談を受けるケースが増えている。
オラの答えは、いつも同じ。
精読した文章を、繰り返し繰り返し音読すること。
（精読の方法については、時間かかるので、一部の人にしか説明しないけどね。。。まあ、基本、知らない単語を調べて、内容を把握することである。）
定期テストとか終わると、テスト範囲の長文はもう二度と読まない。そんな中高生が多いようだ。テストが終わっても、毎日、繰り返し繰り返し音読すべし。
一度精読した文章は、大切な財産なり。
音読を繰り返し、無理なく暗記してしまうことだ。
昨夜のDMMのTeacherから、「TOEICで高得点取れてる生徒がじぇんじぇん英語を話せない。これなぜ！？」との質問を得た。
受験英語と英会話を切り離して考える人が少なくないが、学校のテキストや受験参考書を暗記するまで音読した財産は、必ず英会話でも使える。と思う。
